Our story
How we met
We met in Indianapolis, at Hotel Tango’s fifth anniversary party. Alex was performing. Mica was in the audience, impressed by the performance and, honestly, by the performer.
Nothing happened that night. But over the next year we kept running into each other: at parties, through friends, and at one point in the same apartment building. Somewhere in there, Alex gave Mica free pizza more than once, which he insists was purely good customer service.
Eventually he invited her to an outdoor concert. She said yes, and we’ve been together ever since.
Mica is still his biggest fan. She just got there first.

The place
Why Buenos Aires
Mica’s family is from here, and so is a big part of who she is.
In Argentina, nobody rushes a meal. Lunch turns into the afternoon, and dinner turns into the next morning. There’s even a word for the time spent at the table after the plates are cleared, sobremesa, and it’s usually the best part. People greet each other with a kiss on the cheek, even the first time they meet. A mate gets passed around the circle, and everyone drinks from the same one. Family always shows up, friends quickly become family, and nobody leaves early.
That’s how Mica loves the people in her life, and it’s what she brings to every relationship, including ours.
So this weekend is more than a wedding. It’s a chance to meet the people and the place behind Mica: the food she grew up on, the city her family calls home, and the way Argentines celebrate. We can’t wait to share it with you.
